Projects calling for investment in Tam Ky city

Development orientation of Tam Ky city is to build the city towards Trade, service, industry and small industry. The output value of industry and small industry sector accounts for 38.15% and 58.6% for trade-service, creating jobs for over 4560 employees. Tam Ky City is opening more investment opportunities for domestic and foreign enterprises.

BACKGROUND OF TAM KY CITY

1.  Geography and natural conditions

- 70 kilometers to the north of Danang city

- 25-30 kilometers to the north of Chu Lai airport, Ky Ha port, and Chu Lai open economic zone.

- 45 kilometers to the north of Dung Quat economic zone.

Tam Ky City - the capital of Quang Nam province, located in the chain of coastal urbans, the National Highway 1A, and the road from the south of Quang Nam province to Bo Y international border gate (in Kon Tum province) linking to Ho Chi Minh road. There is Tam Ky station that is almost the midpoint of the railway from the north to the south. Two - third of the natural area of the city (6200 m2) is in Chu Lai Open Economic Zone. Thus, Tam Ky city has an important role in the socio-economic development strategy in the region.

As the convergence of many meandering rivers in the city with Phu Ninh lake mild, Tam Thanh beach widespread, and cultural and historical relics of Ky Anh tunnel, Bai Say – Song Dam, Khuong My tower, Chien Dan tower... Tam Ky city meets the unique culture features of Quang region, and is the very young city that is on the way forming and developing into ecological urban green, clean and beautiful.

2. The area

          - The total area is  92,63 km2, including:

+  The urban area is 41,16 km2

+  The rural area is 51,47 km2

3. Population

          - According to census data on  December 2011, the total population is about 109.051, including:

                   + The rural:    82.750

                   + The urban:   26,301

          - Administrative units are 9 wards and 4 communes

4. Economic Development

The industrial-small industrial value in 2011: to reach 1186 billion, up 28.1% over the same period in 2010

The service and trade value in 2011: reach 2584 billion, up 25.4% over the same period in 2010

The export value in the area reached more than USD 48.2 million

          There are nearly 520 businesses and 8157 business households in Tam Ky city, using over 30,000 employees.

INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENT PROJECT FOR INDUSTRIAL PARK

Tam Thang Industrial Zone

a. Location: At Tam Thang commune, Tam Ky City, 3 kilometers from the city center to the northwest, located on the trunk roads linking to 27-meter Nguyen Van Troi road.

b. Investment scale:

- The total planned land area is  ​​300 hectares.

- The total infrastructure investment is 500 billion VND.

    

c. Advantages of the location:

As the sandy and sparsely populated place favorable for infrastructure construction and site clearance.

Located in a high place, has never flooded.

Located in Chu Lai Open Economic Zone, shall benefit the preferential investment mechanism as all other economic zones in it.

d. Implementation of the project:

There is a detailed plan in the scale of 1/2000 issued by Quang Nam People's Committee .

Infrastructure construction and industrial production investment in the industrial zone have been promoted.

e. Investment Promotion:

Businesses  in infrastructure construction investment of industrial parks.

Businesses in industrial production investment of the following fields:

+ Production and assembly of mechanical products, telecommunications, electronics, refrigeration, civil power;

+ Production of residential, consumer goods, handicraft goods, garments;
          Rent free land without infrastructure during project implementation.

INVESTMENT PROJECTS OF

INDUSTRIAL - SMALL INDUSTRIAL BUSINESS

1 - Thuan Yen Industrial Zone

a. Location: Close to city center 1 km to the west, near the National Highway 1A, near the north-south railway line, Thuan Hoa ward.

b. Investment scale:

- The total planned land area of ​​230 hectares.

- Total investment capital for infrastructure: 300-400 billion VND.

c. Advantages of the location:

This area is mainly hilly land to facilitate the clearance, infrastructure construction investment.

d. Implementation of the project:

The detailed planning of Thuan Yen Industrial Zone was approved in Decision No. 2253/QD-UB issued by Chairman of Quang Nam People’s Committee on 28th May 2004.

Up to now, there are 11 enterprises leasing land with infrastructure, in which some businesses are under construction, and some in operation, accounting for 16.12 ha.

A backbone road of  Thuan Yen Industrial Zone has been building with its total length of 1162,5 meters and an industrial streak along two  backbone roads is ​​about 13,239.7 hectares.

       

e. Investment Promotion:

Businesses has demand of building wood-processing plants, engineering and assembly of mopeds, motorcycles, and other ancillary industries, choosing a location for the project, People's Committee of Tam Ky city shall implement allocation procedures, 100% clean surface.

Land prices expected: 0.25 USD/m2/year.

2- Industrial – small industrial cluster Truong Xuan 2

a. Location: Around 3 kilometers to the west of the city center, near the National Highway 1A, near Tam Ky station, located in Truong Xuan ward.

b. Investment scale:

- The total planned land area of ​​33 hectares.

- Total investment capital for infrastructure: 70 billion VND.

     

c. Advantages of the location:

This area is mainly hilly land to facilitate the clearance, infrastructure construction investment.

There is a detailed plan in the scale of 1/500.

d. Investment Promotion:

Businesses has demand of building wood-processing plants, engineering and assembly of mopeds, motorcycles, and other ancillary industries, choosing a location for the project, People's Committee of Tam Ky city shall implement allocation procedures, 100% clean surface.

Land prices expected: 0.25 USD/m2/year.

3- An industrial streak along two backbone roads of Truong Xuan-Thuan Yen:

a. Location: Close to city center 1 km to the west, lies parallel to the highway 1A and North-South railway line, belonging to two wards of Hoa Thuan and Truong Xuan.

b. Investment scale:

- The total planned land area: 49.8 hectares.

- Total investment capital for infrastructure: over 100 billion VND.

c. Advantages of the location:

This area is mainly rice field land to facilitate the clearance, infrastructure investment.

There is a detailed plan in the scale of 1/500.

        

d. Investment Promotion:

Businesses has demand of building wood-processing plants, engineering and assembly of mopeds, motorcycles, and other ancillary industries, choosing a location for the project, People's Committee of Tam Ky city shall implement allocation procedures, 100% clean surface.

INVESTMENT PROJECTS FOR

INFRASTRUCTURE AND SERVICES TRADE

1- Tam Thanh eco-tourism zone

a. Location: 7 km far from Tam Ky city to the east belonging to Tam Thanh commune.
          - East      : adjacent to South China Sea.

          - North    : adjacent to Route DT616.

          - West     : adjacent to Coastal Youth Road.

          - South    : adjacent to Boundary of Tam Tien commune, Nui Thanh district.

b. Investment scale:

- The total planned land area: 9.5 hectares.

- Total investment capital for infrastructure: over 60 billion VND.

c. Advantages of the location:

The area is mainly casuarinas hill to facilitate the clearance, infrastructure investment.

The beach is 8 kilometers long with clean, beautiful and flat coastline; pristine beauty of the sea can hook any tourist arrives once. With its charming landscape of natural priority and the monsoon tropical climate, Tam Thanh beach is an ideal relaxing and bathing destination

There is Thanh Hoa road from Kon Tum province through the city to Tam Thanh beach.

There is a detailed construction plan in the scale of 1/500

     

d. Investment Promotion:

Priorities for enterprises implementing projects of tourism, services, resorts, restaurants,ect.

2 –  Tam Ky center of service and exhibition

a. Location: located in the central city, An Xuan Ward.

b. Investment scale:

Total planned land area is 2.06 hectares.

Land allocation with lump-sump payment in 50 years, or 50-year lease with annual payment: is up to land rent units issued by Quang Nam People's Committee.

         

c. Advantages of the location:

Located in the center and there are four aspects of the land bordering the main roads of Tam Ky city.

Clearance was done 100%, infrastructure has been finalized.

d. Project objectives:

Tam Ky center of service and exhibition is to ensure the functionalities of services of specialized display and sale of commercial products in the nation and oversea in order to serve the best domestic needs   and expose to the international markets, or hotels, restaurants, services standards 3 to 5 star.

The enterprises exhibiting products here shall have more opportunities to sign  domestic and foreign economic contracts, to gain business meeting and cooperation.

 Long-term lease price shall be mutually agreed upon, and submit to Quang Nam People's Committee for approval (expected 250 m2).

3- Residential and service area of Dien Bien Phu  

a. Location: Located in the inner Tam Ky city belonging to An My ward and An Xuan ward.

b. Investment scale:

The total planned land area consists of 6 lots, in which the lots are classified according to the approved scheme, as follows:

+ Lot 1. 3619 m2

+ Lot 2: 3637 m2

+ Lot 3: 3625 m2

+ Lot 4: 3510 m2

+ Lot 5: 4635 m2

+ Lot 6: 3732 m2

c. Advantages of the location:

The land is adjacent to the main roads of Tam Ky city.

Clearance was done 100%, infrastructure has been finalized.

d. Project objectives:

Priority to investment appealing for the construction of rental buildings, apartments, condominiums and other types of commercial services.

Long-term lease price shall be mutually agreed upon, submit to Quang Nam People's Committee for approval (expected 250 m2).
